Stef
Stef began singing before she could even string a sentence together and hasn’t stopped since! She cites her major influences as the powerhouse vocals of Christina Aguilera, Beyonce and Mariah Carey, and began proper singing lessons at the age of 11. Training with Brent Street for many years, Stef learnt the ins and outs of her voice and the skills every singer needs such as advanced exercises, mic technique and stage presence. Although she was a bit of a late bloomer on the live gig scene, Stef loves performing live more than anything and has well and truly made her mark on the industry.
When she isn’t performing with the boys, she collaborates with a number of producers, writes originals and records her own unique takes on covers for her socials.
Cam
Originally a drummer at an early age, Cam branched out to the sweet grooves of the bass guitar in his early teens. After honing his rhythmic skills over the years in a number of bands, he joined Stef, Cam & Ron and put it all together in a unique percussion & bass combo.
Fusing the raw Spanish sounds of the Cajon, the deep grooves of the bass guitar, the modern sounds of an Electronic Drum Pad and an impressive collection of foot pedals. Cam is always seeking to push the boundaries of his craft and the rhythmic grooves he brings to Stef, Cam & Ron trio.
Ron
With guitar in hand since age 11, Ron pretty much hasn’t done anything else. Early on his influences were Jimi Hendrix, Rage Against The Machine and Incubus, nowadays he loves the popular singer but under-the-radar-mighty guitarist that is John Mayer and anything with Jazz/Soul fusion. University trained, he is obsessed with the art of music and learning all there is to know to enhance his skills. Ron has an array of guitars at his disposal, just the right amount for the variety you need on your wedding day - he can cover anything from fingerpicking acoustic ballads, Jazz comping delights, funky soul classics to heart melting rock solo’s. When in duo mode he combines a stomp box and loop peel to emulate a full band and brings in the electric guitar when in Trio or Band mode.
